WE EAT CO.

We Eat Co. is a small startup that operates as a local community farm and food security initiative, focused on educating the community about food security, farm-to-table production, and seasonal shopping for cost-effective and environmentally friendly choices. Their mission is to reduce food insecurity within the local area by providing access to fresh, healthy food, aiming to transform the community from a "food junkyard" into a food-secure and stable environment.

In my role, I rebranded We Eat Co., giving it a fresh, modern look while managing projects, products, and events to align with the company’s vision. I handled event planning from start to finish, coordinated logistics and partnerships, and led marketing efforts to boost brand visibility. By designing and executing strategies across Instagram and Discord, I grew engagement and created impactful content that communicated the company’s mission. These efforts resulted in successful brand growth, increased community involvement, and a stronger connection with the local audience.

Brand Identity 

The moodboard reflects the new, revamped branding of We Eat Co., capturing the essence of freshness, crispness, and a soft, natural aesthetic. The chosen neutral colors evoke the calm and organic feel of gardening and farming outdoors. The palette is carefully curated to mirror the earthiness of nature while still feeling clean and vibrant, giving a sense of freshness that aligns with the farm-to-table concept. The goal was to embody a balance of modern simplicity and the authenticity of outdoor agriculture, creating a visual identity that feels both grounded and revitalized.

Instagram Insights

Maintained an 11% average engagement rate per post, with higher rates on interactive content such as polls and Q&A sessions.

Achieved a consistent growth of 50–75 new followers per month, reaching 450 followers by the end of Month 8.

#WeGrowWeEat

Join us every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday for #WeGrowWeEat, our farm-to-table initiative where we teach the local community how to grow their own food and shop for seasonal produce. Plus, don’t miss out on our goodies—collect a free tote bag, t-shirt, or both! Grow with us and tag us in your merch to show off how you planted your seeds. We’d love to see your growth and learning journey with us!

Discord Initiative 

Created to bring the community together and strengthen local bonds, our Discord is the perfect place to ask questions, stay up-to-date with live event updates, interact with like-minded individuals, and build meaningful connections. Join us to be a part of something more!

During each event, including the Farmer's Market, Sunday Dinners, and #WeGrowWeEat, patrons were encouraged to join our Discord and follow us on Instagram to receive free merchandise. This initiative was highly successful, resulting in a surge of active Discord members, growing from 86 to 420. The combination of exclusive perks and community engagement significantly boosted participation and strengthened our online community.
