Are we vibing? I think we are! Let's continue this convo via
is what I'm called Lydia Jackson to be exact. I'm your favorite Brand Strategist, Art Director, and Designer specializing in Product, UX, and Branding. Who loves working in (but not limited to) Fashion, Marketing, Beauty, Media, and Food. And, it is so nice to meet you!
Due to me being born to dilly dally (aren’t we all?) but forced to lock in by my ambition, determination, and go-getter personality has resulted in me becoming a recent HBCU graduate from Prairie View A&M University with a double Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Digital Media.
This has aided in my commitment and love of building brands and products from the ground up or nurturing them when the seeds have been planted and need a little TLC (no not the rap group but I dig them too) by deeply understanding people, trends, consumer behavior, their needs, wants and identifying untapped markets. I can create products, designs, and campaigns that help businesses and communities flourish. I deeply value collaboration, creativity, and cultivating community in all my work.

All work no play is not the Lydia way (lol) a holistic balance in life keeps productivity in tip-top shape by indulging in my various hobbies such as
What's Up?
I’m Lydia Jackson. A creative researcher and strategist with a borderline unhealthy
obsession with puzzles, information, and all things tech (we all have our quirks).
I’m the one you call when you just can’t figure out why it’s not working. What’s “it”?
Any product or experience causing friction, confusion, or gaps in your team or organization.
One thing is for certain, and two things are for sure: my love for breaking down complex topics into digestible, actionable insights, while bridging the gap between product and business strategy, stems from that obsession. So it’s no surprise I ended up passionately working in product experience strategy and user research, bringing clarity to chaos through empathy and community-minded solutions.
The Five W’s are always plaguing my mind:
When did the friction pop up?
Where did the gap begin?
Why did it surface?
What needs to happen?
How do we bridge it?
As a proud HBCU Cum Laude graduate with a double Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Digital Media, concentrating in Design, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, my background equips me to answer those questions and understand the unsaid needs across products, consumers, and stakeholders. In order to truly be able to fix the friction, most people tell themselves when speaking, and active listening in action is my superpower and solution.
I thrive in decoding unnoticed friction points and aligning them with business goals and design strategy to create experiences that actually make sense, ones that are sustainable, buildable, and scalable for the long term.
My innovative lens helps me see what needs to be done, how to build on the foundation, and how to make it stronger, smoother, and more thoughtful for everyone involved, from consumers to teams to stakeholders. With a deep understanding of people, trends, behavior, and untapped markets, I make things that work and work well.
I believe in life–work balance. All work and no play? Recipe for burnout (ew, no one wants that). I indulge in hobbies that spark, if you can believe it, even more questions than I already ask daily, lol. Such as studying astrology, photography, Animal Crossing, and Stardew Valley, and reading 3 books at once. Just to name a few.

Capturing moments with my camera

Saying Hello to Isabella on my Animal Crossing island

Chomping and chewing on good food

Nerding out about astrology
