Are we vibing? I think we are! Let's continue this convo via
What's Up!
I’m Lydia Jackson. A creative researcher and strategist with a borderline unhealthy
obsession with puzzles, information, and all things tech (we all have our quirks).
I’m the one you call when you just can’t figure out why it’s not working. What’s “it”?
Any product or experience causing friction, confusion, or gaps in your team or organization.
One thing is for certain, and two things are for sure: my love for breaking down complex topics into digestible, actionable insights, while bridging the gap between product and business strategy, stems from that obsession. So it’s no surprise I ended up passionately working in product experience strategy and user research, bringing clarity to chaos through empathy and community-minded solutions.
My research philosophy is rooted in active listening and pattern recognition since
The Five W’s are always plaguing my mind:
When did the friction pop up?
Where did the gap begin?
Why did it surface?
What needs to happen?
How do we bridge it?
I’ve learned that people often reveal what they truly want or need without even realizing it. By listening closely and paying attention to patterns, I uncover these hidden insights and turn them into actionable solutions.
As a proud HBCU Cum Laude graduate with a double Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Digital Media, concentrating in Design, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, I’m equipped to answer these questions and uncover the unspoken needs across products, consumers, and stakeholders.
I thrive at decoding unnoticed friction points and aligning them with business goals and design strategy to create experiences that make sense, ones that are sustainable, buildable, and scalable for the long term.
My innovative lens helps me see what needs to be done, how to build on existing foundations, and how to make solutions stronger, smoother, and more thoughtful for everyone involved, from consumers to teams to stakeholders. With a deep understanding of people, trends, behavior, and untapped markets, I make things that work and work well.
I believe in life–work balance. All work and no play? Recipe for burnout (ew, no one wants that). I indulge in hobbies that spark, if you can believe it, even more questions than I already ask daily, lol. Such as studying astrology, photography, Animal Crossing, and Stardew Valley, and reading 3 books at once. Just to name a few.
